3rd Quarter 2007
Carolyn Garcia
Professional of the Quarter

Carolyn has a terrific history of nine years with RMLEFCU, and was
particularly instrumental during the City and County of Denver’s recent
transition that switched direct deposit transactions from manual to ACH. The
change affected 1,100 members, and was one of the smoothest such transitions
we’ve ever experienced.
Carolyn has an active life outside of the credit union, spending time with
her family, enjoying outdoor activities, and rooting for the Rockies and Broncos.
In addition to her roles as Accounting Supervisor, she is actively involved in
her Web Committee, and can often be found volunteering to help out other
departments and fellow employees. It’s no wonder Carolyn was nominated by
her peers for this recognition—and no surprise she’s this quarter’s honoree!

2nd Quarter 2007
Tina Bernard
Professional of the Quarter

In a very short time, Tina Bernard has become an important member of
the family here at Rocky Mountain Law Enforcement Credit Union.
Tina joined our team on March 15, 2005, starting off as a temporary
employee. However, with great initiative, dependability and member service
skills, she was hired permanently for the title clerk position at the main office.
When a position at the Aurora office became available, Tina was
promoted to Loan Officer, and her job has been impeccable. In her role, she’s
been active in providing many opportunities to credit union members to boost
their financial success. This mother of four has turned into a stellar asset to
RMLEFCU and its members, and we’re pleased to name her Professional of
the Quarter. Great Job, Tina!

1st Quarter 2007
Derek Horton
Professional of the Quarter

Derek’s demeanor is very easy going and we can always depend on him in any
situation. He is extremely dependable—working early, late and weekends to
ensure members are always served. He volunteers for extra duties, assisting
in all departments, committees and on special projects.
Derek has a positive and cheerful attitude, which allows him to excel at teamwork
and member service. In the short time he has been with us he has received three
promotions. He has shown great initiative to increase his knowledge.
If anyone deserves recognition as Professional of the Quarter, it’s Derek Horton.
Congratulations!
