Direct Deposit
Think how convenient it would be to have your paycheck deposited each payday directly to your RMLEFCU checking or savings account. With direct deposit, you still receive a paycheck stub listing earnings, deductions and other information. However, your money has already been deposited, saving you time. Direct deposit provides convenience; safety; timely deposit of money, especially if you work shifts and have trouble getting to the credit union during normal business hours; and you begin earning dividends on your money immediately. Because of the many benefits of direct deposit, the federal government started requiring that all government checks be directly deposited beginning in 1999. (Direct deposit is also available on any recurring government payment such as Social Security, military retirement, Veterans' Administration compensation, or pensions.)
